Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata) is a plant that contains harmonines and harmalin. The herb is used for relaxation and sleeping problems. In larger amounts it may have a slight hallucinogenic effect. Some people combine it with magic mushrooms to intensify their trip.

Dosing
Passion Flower is often combined with herbs such as damiana, lobelia, skullcap and hops (Humulus lupulus). It can be taken as tea. Stir for 1/2 hour 2 grams in 150 ml of hot water.

It is also possible to mix one teaspoon in a glass of fruitjuice, mix with yogurt or pudding.

Warning
Passion Flower is a mild inhibitor of MAO. Combining it with certain psychoactive medicines or food may cause headaches, high blood pressure or even nausea.
