Leonotis leonurus (also known as Wild Dagga or Lion's tail) has been used (smoked) by people from the Hottentot tribe in South Africa because of its soothing, sedative and euphoric effects. It grows mainly in South and East Africa, where it is often used as a substitute for cannabis. The main active alkaloid is leonurine. In traditional African medicine, Leonotis leonurus has been widely used in the treatment of many different diseases. It is also used to cure snake bites and as a spell that keeps snakes away.

It can be used in the form of tea or added to juice or food. At the beginning max. 0,5g of extract.
